London. Is the vaccine already shown in the UK? According to a British Guardian study, the number of people over the age of 80 who have died of a coronavirus infection since January 24 has dropped by 62 percent. In comparison: Among 20- to 64-year-olds, 47 percent fewer people died of Govt 19 disease. It was 51 percent lower in people aged 65 to 79 years. The “defenders” decided that the success of the British vaccination campaign was gradually being realized.
The daily newspaper quoted Professor David Spiegelholder, a statistician at the University of Cambridge, as saying that the effect was significant and could not be attributed solely to the lock. The fact that the mortality rate for people over the age of 70 is dropping faster than the younger group is “very encouraging” and affected by vaccinations.
Statistics provide additional information
Dayton des Office for National Statistics (ONS) Give another hint that the UK vaccination campaign is starting to make an impact. According to the ONS, 40.9 percent of people over the age of 80 in the UK are tested positive for antibodies against the corona virus. In the general population, only one in five has it in their blood. ONS is the British equivalent of the German Federal Statistical Office.
Other experts are more reluctant when evaluating the trend. “It is still difficult to separate the effects of locking and vaccination,” Paul Hunter, a medical professor at the University of East Anglia, told the Guardian. In his opinion, one would have to wait a few more days.
