ANDERSON, SC - The Fourth Annual Electric City Gobbler 5K Run & Walk will be at 8:30 a.m., Thanksgiving Day, November 22, at the Anderson Mall on Clemson Boulevard. Race proceeds will benefit Anderson area food banks and Haven of Rest Thanksgiving Day meal program.

The Haven of Rest provides thousands of meals to the needy each Thanksgiving Day. Donations of money, blankets, good used coats, and running shoes will also be accepted on race day. Donations for charities will be accepted at the race.

Registration is $20 per participant. The certified course is mostly flat on city streets. Awards: Trophies Awarded to Top Open and Masters Runners - Male & Female; Age Group Awards to Top 3 in each of these categories: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over.

There will also be a fun run. No registration required for the fun run. All fun run finishers receive an award.
