Rain Helps Southeast Water Table
The recent rain storm that left over 4 inches in the southeast was a welcome sight. That additional rain brought the Chattooga water level up to 3.5 feet, which is what we normally see in the Winter and Spring. We are now experiencing snow storms which are even better for the water table and great fun as well! You can keep abreast of the water levels via the internet at Chattooga Water Levels. The other four rivers Wildwater runs offer dam controlled releases. Water levels on the Ocoee, Nantahala, Pigeon and Cheoah Rivers are regulated and traditionally experience limited changes in fluctuation.
