It’s All About Wood!! Call for wood working artists!!!

The Hart Regional Arts Council is sponsoring the First Hartwell Juried Woodworking Show at the Art Center located at 338 E Howell Street, Hartwell, Georgia across from the courthouse.

Representatives will be on hand February 27 and 28 from 2-6 p.m. each day to take in entries. The entry fee is $30.00 for two pieces. (Members pay a discounted entry fee of $20 for two pieces.)

A awards reception will be held March 6th, 7 until 8:30pm. Award categories will be determined by the entries received. Awards will include a Best in Show at $300.00 plus an additional $500 to be distributed to entrants.

Show starts and runs from March 6th through March 30, 2009. Regular hours of the gallery will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1-5 p.m. Other hours may be available dependent upon volunteer availability.
