CALHOUN FALLS, SC - A benefit wild game dinner will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2008, at Northside Baptist Church. The dinner is to benefit Faith Hunters for Youth, a new ministry that is planning a youth hunt for underpriveledged, foster, or single parent kids. The trip will include a night of hunters safety course and a morning and afternoon hunt. The money raised will make the trip free to all kids.
Only 200 tickets will be sold. Tickets will be sold in advance for $10 each at Northside Baptist Church.
The menu will include: wild hog, vension, sea fish, catfish, rabbit, wild turkey, baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, mac and cheese, and many desserts. The event is bringing in a special guest speaker, Mickey Marvin (pictured), a former Oakland Raider and two time Super-Bowl Champion.
Door prizes have been donated to give away at the dinner.
