The Southern Fishing Report - June 12, 2009Bass fishing is fair. Lake levels are only about two and a half feet below full pool and this time last year the lake was over fourteen feet down. The water warms up fast as the heat pounds down and the hot summer pattern is almost in full swing.

Daytime highs have made it hard to catch good Bass. The early top water bite has been fair and the water temperatures rise quickly into the 80's by noon, forcing the Bass to seek shade and cover.
