This family oriented bicycle ride was organized to raise awareness of the City of Anderson and Anderson County’s commitment to the “Complete the Streets” program. All money raised will go to the Cancer Association of Anderson.

The Tour de La France, will begin at La France Elementary School at 8 am. The ride to the Great Escape is 13.74 miles. The ride from the Great Escape the the Anderson County Farmers Market Pavilion is a further 1.8 miles.

A Bike Rodeo will be hosted by Safe Kids Anderson County at the the Great Escape with helmet fittings and free helmets as supplies last. Safe Kids Anderson County is one of more than 450 coalitions affiliated with Safe Kids Worldwide, an organization whose mission is to prevent accidental childhood injury, a leading killer of children 14 and under.
