Registration by May 1 entitles the entrant to one extra hand. Earn or display a VSC (vessel safety check) decal and earn an extra card playable on any one hand.

Last year, over 100 contestant vessels, 20 or more squadron boats and about 500 people gathered for the sixth Annual Hartwell Gold Rock 101 Poker Run. The main purpose for the annual holiday event is to benefit Meals on Wheels and at the close of last year's ceremonies, Meals on Wheels of Greenville and Anderson were presented with a check for $15,000. But after all receipts were counted, over $18,500 was raised for these great organizations. Meals on Wheels of Anderson and Greenville provide hot, nutritious meals to the elderly and disabled residents of Greenville and Anderson counties and serves as a lifeline to meal recipients through the network of volunteers.
