Newsy Notes from Westminster
Heavy smoke filled the air in Westminster on Wednesday morning. I heard Wayne Morton announce on WGOG Radio that there had been a Control Burn in the Sumter National Forest and smoke had come to us in the Long Creek, Westminster, and Oakway areas. The odor was strong too. It is amazing to me how far and wide some things travel!
