Walhalla Implements Water Restrictions

(Published Sep 12, 2007)

WALHALLA, SC - The City of Walhalla has implemented mandatory water restrictions in response to low reserve water levels in Coneross Creek and a servere drought that has gripped South Carolina.

Residents are restricted from filling swimming pools, washing cars, watering grass or anything else that is considered non-essential. Violaters will be warned, then fined, then denied water.
