Oconee County Outdoor Expo

The Seneca Recreation Department in conjunction with Eagle Media, publishers of the Daily Journal/Messenger will be hosting the First Annual Outdoor Recreation Show.

This event is designed to showcase the many outdoor realted products and services available in Oconee County. Thousands of consumers in the Upstate enjoy the great outdoors and we want them to know what the Oconee County business community has to offer.

The dates for this exciting event will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 4-6. Hours are 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, at the Shaver Complex in Seneca.

Admission will be $3.00 at the door. Anyone who brings a canned good will receive $1 off admission. All can goods received will help a local ministry.

The Cat buses will also be running Saturday, May 5.  The buses will transport anyone who would like to attend the BBQ cookoff at Gignilliat Community Center from the Shaver Complex.
