ANDERSON, SC - Casey Ashley (pictured) of Donalds, SC, is tied for fifth place with five catches for 18 pounds, ten ounces in the three-day Bassmaster Classic on Lake Hartwell. Fifty anglers started the tournament February 22 and are competing for $500,000. February 24 is the last day. They launch from Portman Marina of Highway 24 in Anderson.

Charlie Hartley of Ohio leads with five catches, totaling over 21 pounds.

In the women's Bassmaster Championship on Lake Keowee in Seneca, Dianna Clark of Tennessee and Judy Wong of Louisana are in a tight race for first place. Both have 10 catches for 20 pounds, but Clark has a nine-ounce lead in the total weight.
