Wireless @ The Pickens County SC Library System!

Laptop users can now sign on to the Internet at any branch of The Pickens County Library System! The library is excited to be able to extend wireless internet service to the Village Branch in Pickens and the Sarlin Branch in Liberty. Having wireless will give us greater flexibility in accommodating our patrons and expand computer usage.

The Hampton Memorial Library, the headquarters for the system, has offered wireless in Easley for a little over a year and the Central-Clemson Regional Branch has offered wireless since May. Patrons have been very happy, as has library staff. Library Director Allison Anderson states that, "wireless use has been widely used without difficulty. It is great to be able to have students and visitors to the area be able to walk in, find a comfy chair, and log on to the Internet."
