Warning Sirens to be Tested April 1

CLEMSON, OCONEE, SC - Clemson University and Oconee Nuclear Station warning sirens will sound Tuesday, April 1, 2008, to test the systems. The nuclear station sirens will sound between 10 a.m. and noon as part of a Federal Emergency Management Agency drill. The campus warning sirens will sound at 11 a.m. as part of a regular quarterly test. The sirens will sound for approximately three minutes for each test. No public action is necessary. In the event of an actual emergency, you should tune to local radio or television stations for more information or go to www.Clemson.edu/CUSafety.
