WESTMINSTER, S.C. - July 1, 2010 - A heavy storm tore through the Chickasaw Point subdivision in Oconee County on Tuesday damaging boats, downing trees and power lines and ripping docks from their moorings.  

South Union and Fair Play Fire Departments responded to the scene where many trees and power lines blocked the road. Docks were slashed from their moorings and at least one pontoon boat was capsized. Hazmat teams were called to contain a fuel spill.

No injuries were reported.
