Red Flag Alert ContinuesColumbia, SC - The Forestry Commission has lifted the Red Flag Fire Alert for most South Carolina counties. Several counties in the Piedmont region remain under a Red Flag Alert until further notice. Those counties are: Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Chester, Edgefield, Fairfield, Greenville, Laurens, Lexington, McCormick, Oconee, Pickens, Richland, Saluda, Spartanburg, Union and York.
