OCONEE, SC - On March 20, 2007, the Hartwell Lake Keowee Real Estate Group hosted a charity golf tournament to benefit the Oconee County Habitat for Humanity. It was held at the Oconee Country Club.

The morning started with registration at 10:45 am. At registration each golfer received a goody bag that held small gifts and lunch catered by Beach Girls Catering. There was a noon shotgun start with a captain’s choice format. After a beautiful, sunny day the golfers finished up with a great BBQ dinner catered by Piggaso’s and awards at 4:30 pm.

We raised $4,483.07 for Oconee County Habitat for Humanity. There was a wonderful showing of support from the entire community. We want to thank our sponsors, golfers, caterers, and volunteers. We would also like to thank the entire group from the Oconee County Habitat for Humanity. Their volunteers came out in large numbers to help, as well as, play in the tournament.
