ANDERSON, SC - Planning is in full swing, according to the Anderson Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB),  to welcome the tens of thousands of visitors who will descend on the area for next February’s Bassmasters Classic on Lake Hartwell. 

The CVB hosted a meeting in October for destination marketing organizations in Anderson, Greenville, Pickens and Oconee Counties to discuss ways to roll out the red carpet.   ESPN has already blocked 1,050 hotel room nights in Anderson county to accommodate their staff which will produce 13 hours of TV coverage on the event.
