Restoring Boats To Like-New Shape Is Labor of Love for Christal Clean Detailing

(Published Nov 28, 2007)

Patrons of Christal Clean Detailing in Hartwell expecting owner Christal Herchelroth to tut-tut them for neglecting their boats needn’t worry. Restoring boats, even those in a shameful state, to like-new condition is a labor of love for this mother of two, who spent many years paying her dues as a detailer before starting her own professional detailing service seven years ago.

“We can restore boats in even the worst condition and our customers are always ecstatic and emotional with the results,” Ms. Herchelroth says. “The work will last six months and it will sparkle like a diamond.” Ms. Herchelroth’s service, which includes a unique and detailed follow-up procedure, extends tender loving care to every inch of a boat, from hauls, wells, izonglass, chrome and upholstery to cabins, center consoles, rubrail, teak and towers. Boat winterization and storage is also available.

Carnuba wax and other high-end cleaning and polishing products are used in the detailing process, which is available either at the customer’s location or at Christal Clean’s facility at 5685 Bowersville Highway. They also detail jet skis, cars, RVs, tractor trailers and, upon special request, homes and condominiums.

Fully insured with letters of reference available, Christal Clean Detailing serves the entire southeastern United States. For 24-hour service, call 706-376-9797.

I have a runabout that hasn't work nor been cleaned for a couple of years. It is disgusting. I am getting it fixed and I despartely need it cleaned. Do you clean runabouts? If so how long, how much and do I bring it to you?
