"Cars & Guitars, Under the Stars"

HARTWELL, GA - "Cars & Guitars, Under the Stars" will be from 2-9 p.m., on Saturday, May 24, around the Courthouse Square. This family-friendly event is a great way to spend a Saturday admiring elegant classic cars and kick-start the summer season.

  • Cost per car is $20. We currently have over 60 cars pre-registered! Car Show Registration Form
  • All pre-registered Classic Car Show participants will receive a show t-shirt and are eligible for prize drawings, to be held from 2-9 p.m.!
  • Cars 25 years or older are invited to enter.

The Battle of the Bands will take place beside the Green Bean Coffee Café at N. Forest Ave. & Franklin St.

  • There are currently 13 bands registered for the Battle of the Bands.
  • This event is sponsored by the Green Bean Coffee Café and Jombuss Entertainment.

Interested bands need to contact Logan at the Green Bean Coffee Café (706) 376-4199.

Hart County Ministerial Association Cook-Off:

  • Hartwell First United Methodist Church - Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Desserts
  • Cedar Springs Baptist Church - Hot Dogs (Chili/Cheese/Slaw)

The Children's Activity Area will be in front of First Citizens Bank and on Franklin Street.

  • Children’s Activities — in front of First Citizens Bank on Franklin Street. Jurassic Park, Moon Bounce, Slide, Obstacle Challenge, Bungee.
  • On Saturday May 17th from 10a.m. to Noon you can pre-purchase unlimited “Children’s Activity Area” passes for just $10 (per child) at Big M Ace Hardware, Belks, Home Depot, Ingles, and Wal-Mart in Hartwell. Passes will sell for $15 on May 24 or individual tickets will be available.
  • Kick-A-Thon Fundraiser — pledges accepted for total number of kicks by a Contemporary Martial Arts Students.
  • The Home Depot: Build-Your-Own Workshop
  • Big M Ace Hardware: Build-Your-Own Workshop
