The Hartwell Regional Art Council is sponsoring the First Annual Hartwell Juried Quilt Show at the Art Center located at 338 E Howell Street, Hartwell, Georgia across from the courthouse. Categories include:

Large quilted (machine), Large quilted (hand), Wall hangings (quilted),Novelties (quilted). Four-inch sleeves for hanging must accompany all quilt over 4 feet. Smaller pieces must be accompanied by some way to hang. If possible, please include a picture of your works to be included in the program.

Delivery of the quilts are January 30th and January 31st, 2:00 – 6:00pm each day. Show starts and runs from February 6th through February 27th. Pick up date for juried out works is February 5th 9:00am until noon and February 6th from 4 until 7pm. Pick up date for juried in works February 28th 10:00 am until noon and February 29th, 2:00pm until 5:30pm. The entrée fee is $30.00 per category, two pieces per individual category.

A reception will be held February 6th, 7 until 8:30pm. Awards are;

Best in Show - $300.00; and awards per category; 1st Place $100.00, 2nd Place $75.00, 3rd Place $50.00
