Published Sep 4, 2007

LAVONIA, GA - The Tugaloo Triathlon will be Saturday, September 15, at Tugaloo State Park at Lake Hartwell, Lavonia, GA. The event includes a 1.5K swim, 42K bikeride and 10K run.

Course Information:
The 1.5K swim is a triangle course in a cove in Lake Hartwell.
The Roswell Bicycle's 42k bike course is a well-marked hilly out-and-back course. Click here for bike course map and course profiles.
The Big Peach Running Company's 10k run course is an out-and-back course within Tugaloo State Park and ends at the PT Solution's Finish Line. Click here for run course map.

Wetsuits:
Many people call and email before the race asking whether wetsuits will be allowed. We won't know until race day. That's all we will be able to tell you. Some years wetsuits have been allowed. Other years the water has been too warm and they haven't.

We also get questions before race day regarding the water temperature. We won't know what the water temperature is in Lake Hartwell. It could change on race morning anyway.

So bring your wetsuit!
