Crisis Risk Management - B.E.A.S. Project

ANDERSON, SC - Chip Sturgis with Anderson County Emergency Services will faciliate a workshop "Crisis Risk Management--B.E.A.S. Project " from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce.

The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

The Anderson County Emergency Services Billboard Emergency Alert System partners with local businesses to ensure the health and safety of residents, guests and visitors while also protecting their property and interests. The B.E.A.S. Project is made up of local businesses that donate their electronic signs, marquees and billboards in order to post public safety notices in the event of approaching tornadoes, hurricanes, ice storms and local flooding. B.E.A.S will also be used for local missing persons notices.
