DURHAM, N.C. - After winning three races at the Knecht Cup, the Duke rowing team has plenty of momentum heading into the ACC Championships this Saturday, April 24, in Clemson, S.C.
The Blue Devils have drawn a three seed in the varsity eight and the second varsity eight and a five seed in the varsity four at the conference championship. Racing begins at 9 a.m. on Lake Hartwell with the varsity four and extends until 10 a.m. when the final race of the day, the varsity eight, gets underway.
The Blue Devils' took the gold medal in the varsity eight at the Knecht Cup in their last race along with gold in the open quad and the varsity pair. Duke will enter that same boat in the varsity eight this weekend along with an entry in the second varsity eight and the varsity four.
