OCONEE, SC - Judy Wong of Many, Louisana, topped the women's leaderboard Saturday, February 23, earning $60,000 in cash and prizes with a three-day total of 26.10 pounds, 21 fish during the Women's Bassmaster Classic on Lake Keowee. She credited the lukewarm waters at the Oconee Nuclear Power station as the "hot spot."

Contenders in the Bassmaster Classic will weigh-in their last catches pulled from Lake Hartwell today, February 24, with hopes of catching and passing leader Alton Jones of Waco, Texas, and claiming the $500,000 in prizes. Jones' total weight of 36 pounds, 10 fish is two pounds ahead of second place. Weigh-in begins at 4:30 p.m. at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville.
Local angler, Casey Ashley of Donalds, slipped from fifth to 20th place on Saturday with 24.6 pounds, seven fish.
