ANDERSON, SC - Anderson County Transportation will close Gentry Road March 17-21, 2008, for repairs. The road and bridge crew will make repairs to the culvert and eroding road shoulders. The original metal culvert, which has been damaged by rust, will be replaced with a new reinforced concrete pipe. Replacing the culvert, reestablishing the shoulders of the road and re-asphalting the roadway will adequately allow water to flow under the road and provide for safer, sturdier travel for residents.
