SCDNR soliciting public comment on revisions of fishing regulations
South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is soliciting public comment on the two following proposed bills by March 8, 2010.
New Fishing Pier at Lake Hartwell
Anticipating more than 10,000 visitors each year, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division opened a new fishing pier below the Hartwell Dam on Jan. 15, giving anglers greater access to fishing areas adjacent to the facility on the Georgia side of the Savannah River.

The public Forum is intended to have all SRB residents, business people, municipal representatives and other water users in the basin - commonly called stakeholders – meet together with SC water organization representatives. The annual pass costs $30. The new passes are valid 12 months from date of purchase and can be obtained at Hartwell Lake Visitor Center, 5625 Anderson Highway, Hartwell, Ga.
