The US Army Corps of Engineers recently released the 2007 Shoreline Management Plan as a result of a 2 year public review and update project.  The plan is now in full effect.

Hardcopies of the report were recently mailed to all permit holders. 

Some of the significant changes to the plan include:

• Time limits on dock installation
• Access requirements
• 75ft frontage criteria
• New Policies regarding down-light sheilding
• Water depth requirement for new dock permits
• New restrictions on improved pathways and walkways
• New restrictions on 2-story docks
