HARTWELL, GA - The 2008 Lake Hartwell Association Spring Picnic will be Saturday, May 17, starting at 11 a.m., at Big Oaks State Park on Highway 29. Colonel Edward J. Kertis, District Commander, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, will be the guest speaker. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served from 11:30-12:30 p.m and door prizes will be given.
