Safe Boating Courses to be Held
PIEDMONT, SC - The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will offer its safe boating course on September 15 and October 20. Both courses will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost is $30 per person. A textbook and CD are provided to each student.

Two Honored by Coast Guard
Two anderson teenagers were recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary on Saturday, April 28, for helping two men whose boat had capsized on Lake Hartwell at Darwin Wright Park.

Boating Courses and Meetings

Situation: Due to geographic distance and available personnel the U.S. Coast Guard Recruiting Service does not have a physical presence in all geographic areas. Many potentially qualified recruit prospects never consider the Coast Guard as a service option for simple lack of exposure to information which might lead them to contact a USCG Recruiter.
