PIEDMONT, SC - The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will offer its safe boating course on September 15 and October 20. Both courses will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost is $30 per person. A textbook and CD are provided to each student.

The course on September 15 will be at the Living Sancturary Church in Piedmont. The class October 20 will be at the Keowee Key Marina Villa Activity Center.

America's Boating Course is a one-day course designed for the beginner and exprienced boater or personal watercraft operator. The course has been approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators. Course completion generally equates to a reduction in your boating insurance premiums from most insurance companies.
