ANDERSON, SC - The Anderson County Senior Citizens Program will be honoring the Anderson County Outreach Entertainers on May 23 at noon at The Jo Brown Senior Center with an appreciation luncheon. Tracing their roots to the original Anderson County Senior Citizens Band, these performers continue a musical legacy that began 23 years ago. Currently, 20 talented seniors volunteer by performing a variety show.
Last year, they performed 36 shows, bringing smiles to faces all across our communities. Audiences at AnMed Health South, The Legacy, Magnolia’s of Easley and Wesley Commons in Greenwood have been blessed by the Outreach Entertainers’ performances.
The Anderson County Outreach Entertainers, led by Dick Williams, are available to perform for your group or facility free of charge, however donations are accepted. To schedule your show contact 964-9375 or The Jo Brown Senior Center 231-2237.
