ANDERSON, SC - In preparation for Memorial Day, Anderson County's emergency services will conduct safety classes from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at Portman Marina, Saturday, May 17. Classes will cover boating safety, first aid, life jackets, self rescue and working with emergency workers.

Presenters will include members from Anderson County EMS, technical rescue team, SC Department of Natural Resources, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
