HARTWELL, GA - The Lake Hartwell Dam Run will be on Saturday, May 3, at 8:30 a.m., at Big Oaks Recreation Area, and attracts over 1000 runners each year. It is one of Georgia's most scenic 5K and 10K runs, and features a one mile "Fun Run."

It all begins at Big Oaks Recreation Area on US 29 just North of Hartwell at 5625 Anderson Hwy. Come and enjoy the "Best Dam Run Anywhere." Sponsored by the Hart County Running Club and the Hart County Chamber of Commerce.
