ANDERSON, SC - Sea Ray is joining its nationwide dealer network in sponsoring local Aquapaloosa events in their marketing areas during the last two weekends in July. In that regard, SeaRay of Greenville has selected 21 July for their event at the Portman Marina at Lake Hartwell.
ANDERSON, SC - Sea Ray is joining its nationwide dealer network in sponsoring local Aquapaloosa events in their marketing areas during the last two weekends in July. In that regard, SeaRay of Greenville has selected 21 July for their event at the Portman Marina at Lake Hartwell.
"This will become an annual event that Sea Ray co-ops across the country – and the real purpose is to get people on the water, using and enjoying their boats….and having the opportunity to meet others that share their enthusiasm for boating." said Tom Reimann, Dealership Manager of Sea Ray of Greenville. "It is not a sales event, and shouldn’t be construed that way. We will have give-a-ways, and employees there, and new units there for our people to “take the tour” – but we aren’t there to sell boats. We’ll be there to support them having a good time on the water, and show our appreciation that they partake in our sport."
Tentative Agenda
Tentatively, "the tour" is scheduled to depart from Portman Marina, cruise to the dam, cruise to Clemson, and return...pointing out points of interest along the way (marinas, anchorage coves, etc.). The Lake Hartwell Sail and Power Squadron has agreed to support this effort by conducting vessel safety checks and providing tour guides for the tour. They'll also have a display tent promoting membership and the activities/educational classes they provide.
