Fish Out of Water ActivitiesANDERSON, SC - The Anderson Arts Center is proud to announce the “Fish out of Water; Hooked on the Arts 2” public arts project. Never before has a project in Anderson County pulled together artists, businesses, families, and government in such a meaningful way. The new fish will be unveiled on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 6:00pm at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion and will be on display for at least one year at various locations.

Concert Cancelled in WalhallaWALHALLA, SC - The Army Band Concert scheduled for June 30 at the
Walhalla Civic Auditorium has been cancelled. Several events are coming up soon, however, and tickets can be bought at Booksmith and Musician's Den and Sensibly Chic (Ram Cat Alley) in Seneca; the Chamber Office, Village Framer and Common Grounds in Walhalla; and The Wine Emporium in the Keowee Area.

Learn-to-Sail Camp for ChildrenJunior Sailing Camp is an annual, summer, day camp opportunity for local children. Sailing clubs across America offer certified Learn-to-Sail camps so youngsters can benefit from qualified sailing instructors. The instructors devote much of their summer teaching kids the wholesome activity of sailing real boats.

Camp Odessy in JulyCamp Odyssey is a summer program for youth ages 6-12 and will take place July 8-14, 2007, at Clemson University on Lake Hartwell.
Our campers have opportunities to take part in many exciting activities, including (but not limited to): hiking, fishing, crafts, boat rides, canoeing, overnight camping and more. Campers live at the Outdoor Lab in our cool cabins under the supervision of our trained and talented summer staff. The Outdoor Lab is located about 5 miles from the university campus on Lake Hartwell. Here you can also see our awesome treehouse where some groups will get to go on an overnight campout!
