The 15th Annual Polar Bear Jump will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 10, at Clemson Marina on Seneca Marina Drive in Clemson. The Polar Bear Jump is a one-day event to raise funds for children and adults with disabilities in Anderson and Oconee counties, as well as attract hundreds of spectators who come out in support of the brave jumpers and to enjoy the carnival atmosphere.
Proceeds from the event will help provide occupational, physical and speech therapy for children and financial assistance for the purchase of prescribed medical items. This year's proceeds will be given to Anderson, Oconee and Pickens, Special Olympic athletes, Family Connections, Youth Volunteer Corp, and Anderson-Oconee Speech and Hearing.
Cost is $50 to jump or $100 to have someone else jump.
