Clemson offers Master Wildlifer II

CLEMSON, SC - Master Wildlifer II, an advanced satellite course designed for landowners, land managers and wildlife enthusiasts who want to integrate wildlife into their land-use plans, is scheduled for Feb. 19 to March 11.

The program will be broadcast live over satellite from Clemson University and delivered to multiple downlink sites across the state in four two-hour sessions beginning at 6:30 p.m. Topics include:

  • Feb. 19 – Management of Bobwhite quail
  • Feb. 26 – Management of white-tailed deer
  • March 4 – Management of Eastern wild turkey
  • March 11 – Management of native and planted wildlife foods

Participants will learn to enhance habitat for a variety of wildlife species that can be enjoyed by themselves, family and friends and outdoor recreationists.

Master Wildlifer II is an advanced, up-to-date version of the Master Wildlifer 2003 and 2005 course and incorporates the latest research and management information from the leading experts in the field of wildlife management.

Registration cost is $100 per person, which includes access to speaker notes, refreshments and a Master Wildlifer cap.
