CARTERSVILLE, GA - The Georgia Board of Natural Resources proposes to amend its Vision and Mission Statement by adding the following language: Public comments will be accepted at the Board’s December 5, 2007 meeting,which will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Center at the Lodge at Red Top Mountain State Park, 50 Lodge Road, Cartersville, Georgia 30121.

Persons unable to attend the meeting may submit written comments to dnrboard@dnr.state.ga.us Written comments must be received by close of business on Friday, November 30, 2007.

The proposed statement will state: “The Board of Natural Resources will be widely recognized as a public agency that holds as one of its core values a respect for private property rights and strikes a reasonable balance between private property rights and environmental impacts when adopting regulations.”
