Published Apr 24, 2008

COLUMBIA, SC – A public meeting will be held at North Greenville University April 28 to discuss the proposed 401 Water Quality Certification for the Cliffs Mountain Park development, according to the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control.

“We understand that many people are interested in this development,” said Susan Turner, director of DHEC’s Region 2 Environmental Quality Control office in Greenville. “That’s why we’re holding this meeting. DHEC staff members will be there to share information and answer questions related to this project.”

According to Turner, representatives from the Cliffs Communities will also make a presentation at the meeting.

Turner said the meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Hamlin Recital Hall of NGU’s Hayes Christian Fine Arts Center in Tigerville.
