Job Skills Assessed in April and May

HARTWELL, GA - The mobile computer testing unit will be at 31 E. Howell St. (Hart County Chamber Office) to offer the free Work Force Ready Assessment. Registration is required 24-hours in advance. Register by calling Ray Stowers at (706) 436-4396 or email mobileunitman@yahoo.com. When calling or emailing, you will need to provide your full name, date of birth, the last four digits of your social security number, and your phone a number.

The Work Force Ready Assessment on computer version - will be available at Chamber:

  • Thursday - April 3 from 2:00-6:00 PM (Assessment & Practice)
  • Friday - April 11 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM (Assessment only)
  • Thursday- April 17 from 2:30 PM until 5:30 PM (Practice only)
  • Friday - April 18 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM (Assessment only)
  • Thursday- April 24 from 2:30 PM until 5:30 PM (Practice only)
  • Friday - April 25 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM (Assessment only)
  • Thursday- May 1from 2:30 PM until 5:30 PM (Practice only)
  • Friday - May 2 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM (Assessment only)

The Work Force Ready Assessment paper version - will take place downstairs at the Adult Learning Center on Benson Street at 8:30AM.

  • Monday – April 21 must be in seat at 8:30AM (Paper version of the Assessment)
  • Monday – April 28 must be in seat at 8:30AM (Paper version of the Assessment)

Free Work Force Ready Assessment testing will also take place at the Elberton Campus at Athens Technical College on Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings. Register for the Elberton Campus assessment by calling Amanda Kiriakos at (706) 213-2139.

This assessment is required, if you wish to apply for a job at the Fenner Dunlop conveyor belt plant at the Gateway Industrial Park.
