Natural Resources Board Meets August 24 in Florence

FLORENCE, SC - The S.C. Natural Resources Board, the policy making body of the S.C. Department of Natural Resources, will meet 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at Francis Marion University, Stokes Administration Building in Florence. (Driving directions to the Administration Building: Take Exit 141A on I-95 North toward Fayetteville and travel 9 miles. Take Exit 170 and turn right on Hwy 327 to Marion/Myrtle Beach and travel 5 miles. Take a left on 76/301 travel 1.5 miles to Francis Marion Rd. or Hwy 327. Take a right on Francis Marion Rd. or Hwy 327. Take an immediate left on Wallace Rd. and the Administration building is on the right.)

Board meetings are open to the public, and anyone with business for the board or needing directions to the meeting should contact the S.C. Department of Natural Resources Columbia office at (803) 734-9102. Michael G. McShane of Johns Island is chairman of the S.C. Natural Resources Board.
